These general terms and conditions apply between Northern Tackle and you as a customer when you place an order with us.
Sales to Minors
You must be 18 years old to place an order. We reserve the right to reject or cancel your order if you have provided incorrect information.
Orders
All orders are processed within 24 hours (normal business week). You can monitor your order yourself via your login on "My Pages."

Campaign Codes
Only one campaign code can be used per purchase.
Warranty
All products on Northern Tackle have a 1-year warranty (covers manufacturing defects).
PURCHASE TERMS - PAYMENT
Private Individuals
You can pay in many different ways at Northern Tackle, and all payments are securely processed via Kustom. Kustom is the company that acquired Klarna's spun-off business unit "Klarna Checkout," the checkout solution e-commerce businesses have used in recent years to facilitate purchases.
Choose to pay with your bank account, card, Swish, 14-day invoice, installment plan, or direct bank transfer.
14-Day Invoice
You need to provide your personal identity number or organization number, be registered in the Swedish population register, and be over 18 years old. You must not have any payment remarks.
A credit check may be conducted after you provide your personal details at checkout, which in some cases involves a credit inquiry. If so, a copy will be sent to you.
A reminder fee may be charged, and if payment is not made, the matter will be handed over to a debt collection agency.

Card Payment
Card payments follow applicable regulations for online payments in Sweden and the EU. We use Klarna’s secure payment solution, ensuring a safe and smooth purchase.
Discounts & Discount Codes
Only one discount code can be used per purchase. Multiple discount codes can be applied to products with a reduced price visible on the website unless otherwise stated.
If you return an item purchased at a campaign price, we cannot guarantee that the campaign price will apply to an exchange.
PURCHASE TERMS - DELIVERY
SHIPPING COMPANIES
Our products are delivered with DHL. All deliveries are trackable.
DHL: The package is usually shipped the same or next business day. It normally reaches the pickup point within 2-5 business days. In some locations, DHL only deliver to service point 1-2 times a week and might therefor result in a longer total delivery time.
Once your order is packed, you will receive an email with a tracking ID to follow your order. Goods are delivered to the nearest pickup point linked to the address you provided, if possible. Valid ID is required to verify your identity when picking up the package.
Early Bird: The package is usually shipped the same or next business day. It reaches you within 2-4 business days. In smaller locations with delivery 1-2 days a week, there may be a slight delay for the final delivery stage.
Once your order is packed, you will receive an email with a tracking ID to follow your order.
Northern Tackle will email you at the address provided in your order when the goods are shipped from our warehouse.
Delivery to Any Address
You can choose to have your products sent to a pickup point linked to an address other than your registered address, e.g., a summer house, workplace, or similar. Note: For invoice or installment payments, delivery can only be made to your registered address.
SHIPPING COSTS
The final shipping cost is presented at checkout and depends on the weight and number of products in the order.
DELIVERY TIME
Weekdays: Orders placed before 1 PM are packed the same day.
All orders are picked and packed within 0-1 business days and shipped with the next available truck. You should receive your products within 2-4 business days.
In rare cases, such as after a large weekend campaign, there may be slight delays for orders received on Mondays.
For shipments with larger items like electric motors, very long rods, etc., an additional 1-3 business days may apply depending on package size.
RESERVATION OF OWNERSHIP
All goods remain the property of Northern Tackle until full payment has been received.
DAMAGED GOODS IN TRANSIT
Northern Tackle takes full financial responsibility if an item is lost or damaged during delivery. It’s important that you report any damage correctly. If you notice damage to the box or item upon delivery, report it immediately to the responsible carrier when receiving the goods. If you discover damage after unpacking, you must notify us within 2 business days of receiving the item.
UNCLAIMED GOODS
Unless otherwise agreed, the customer is responsible for shipping and administrative costs of 30 € if the package is not claimed.
MISCELLANEOUS Force Majeure
In the event of war, natural disasters, labor disputes, government decisions, non-delivery from suppliers, costly circumstances, or similar events beyond our control that could not reasonably have been foreseen and that affect agreements or commitments made by Northern Tackle, preventing us from fulfilling said agreements/commitments, Northern Tackle shall be released from its obligations to perform them.
Confidentiality and Security
When shopping at Northern Tackle, you provide personal details, delivery information, and possibly other data. This information is necessary for us to process your order. Passwords and payment card details are always stored in an unreadable format. We primarily communicate via email. Automated information about orders, registration, and any special offers will be sent to the email address you have registered.
Applicable Law and Disputes
Disputes should first be resolved amicably through discussion with Northern Tackle’s customer service. In case of a dispute, Northern Tackle follows decisions from the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
In disputes regarding the interpretation of these terms, they shall be interpreted under Swedish law and resolved by ARN or, as a last resort, by a general court.
You can also file complaints online via the EU Commission’s platform for dispute mediation. The link to the platform is http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Complaints submitted via this link are forwarded to the responsible dispute resolution body in Sweden.
PURCHASE TERMS - RETURNS & COMPLAINTS
HOW TO RETURN YOUR GOODS?
For the return process to be as smooth as possible and for us to refund your purchase quickly, please follow the instructions below.
Your return should be made as soon as possible, no later than 14 days after notifying us of your intent to return.
Start by ensuring your items are packaged in a manner equivalent to how they were delivered to you, as you are responsible for the return shipment.
Attach a shipping label to each package (over the old one if it’s still there). Ensure the labels are securely attached and that the barcode is readable.
NOTE: The shipping label must not be attached directly to the product or its original packaging, as this prevents resale. Use a protective outer box and attach the label to it.
If the product was shipped only in its product box with protective plastic and a shipping label, the same level of packaging must be used for the return. The product must be unused with all tags intact. If these instructions are not followed and the product or its packaging is damaged or used, a deduction of 30% of the product’s value will be made, with a minimum deduction of 15 € upon refund.
Once the products are back in our warehouse, we will promptly review the return and refund you if the item is undamaged and unused.
You must always pay for the products you order, and we will issue a refund afterward once the items are back in stock and inspected.

You will find a return label in the package, which you simply attach to the shipping box/bag and drop off at the nearest DHL pickup point.
We currently delivery to the following countries: Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Bulgaria, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia & Spain.
Return Costs:We charge a fee for returns, which varies depending on what is being returned, as follows:
When returning with the included return shipping label, the following fee is deducted from the refund:
- 15 € - non-bulky packages
- 30 € - bulky packages (weight over 15 kg or longest side over 150 cm)
Same cost is deducted from your order even when you don´t choose to pick up your order at the service point.
If the value of the returned items does not cover the fee, no refund will be issued. You will not be charged the difference either.
NOTE! If your return concerns a defective item or transport damage, you must contact customer service beforehand to ensure proper and smooth handling.

For suspected defects, Northern Tackle must always be contacted. Complaints made within two months of discovering the defect are always considered timely. Private individuals have the right to file a complaint for defects within three years of receiving the item.
Complaint forms and any return shipping labels will be provided. For approved complaints, the customer will be compensated with an equivalent product and reimbursed for costs such as return shipping. Northern Tackle must confirm a manufacturing or material defect before sending a replacement. Northern Tackle does not cover incidental costs, such as rented fishing equipment. For unapproved complaints, the customer will be charged shipping costs.
It’s important to package returned items well, as you are responsible for any damage during return shipping, and we may need to reject returns or deduct from the refund. In case of a dispute, we will follow the recommendations of the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL & CANCELLATION
As a private individual, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for all goods under the Swedish Distance and Home Sales Act (2005:59).
The right of withdrawal begins when you receive your item. You are not required to provide a reason for withdrawing, though we appreciate it as it helps us improve our business. To cancel or return an item, you must contact our customer service.
For return shipping related to cancellations or exercising your right of withdrawal, it is your responsibility to return the items to our warehouse.
30-Day Open Purchase
At Northern Tackle, we go further and offer you a 30-day open purchase period instead of the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. You can thus change your mind within 30 days and, for example, exchange for a different size/model. During the Christmas season, we often extend this further so recipients of Christmas gifts can exchange items after the holidays. This will be specified on the product pages.
If your products were shipped with DHL, the package already includes a return shipping label that you can simply attach to the package and send back to us.
If you request a full refund due to exercising your right of withdrawal, you must not handle the item excessively or carelessly. If you do, we reserve the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the item’s reduced value due to such use. From the amount to be refunded, we may deduct a sum equal to the item’s depreciation compared to its original value.
For returns, we recommend using the original packaging to avoid damaging the products, as you are responsible for them until they reach Northern Tackle. If the original packaging is not used, the alternative packaging must protect the items to prevent damage during transport. If you fail to follow Northern Tackle’s packaging recommendations or damage the product during assembly or handling, Northern Tackle will not provide compensation for that item.
When exercising your right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Return shipping costs charged to the customer:
Standard packages: 15 €
Bulky packages: 25 € (for packages over 15 kg or longer than 150 cm)
REFUNDS
Refunds from Northern Tackle are processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days from receiving your notice of withdrawal, though not before we have received the returned item and confirmed it is unused, or you have provided proof of return (e.g., a receipt of shipment).
It’s important to be logged in when shopping with us; otherwise, discounts and offers will not be applied automatically and cannot be added manually afterward.
