We recommend using our stand-up LT jig heads, tungsten jig heads, or our swimming jig heads for fishing near the bottom. Gunnar can also be used on a chebu rig in combination with an offset hook, or simply on a dropshot rig, providing the perfect slow presentation near the bottom that imitates the typical swimming movement of a real goby.

Hook size is denoted by a number. The higher the number, the smaller the hook. Size 30 is a tiny hook, 4 is significantly larger. If there’s a zero after, e.g., 2/0, it’s even bigger. The higher the number before the zero, the larger the hook. We have a range from the smallest hook, size 30, to our largest, 18/0.
