This is Version 2 of the BladeBite Tungsten Bladed Jig, now featuring a thin and highly durable specially designed metal spoon that creates fantastic swimming movements. The key factors of the BladeBite are the intense vibrations and movements, which start as soon as you begin to reel, or immediately after a pause when the blade catches in the water. A bladed jig works well in both clear and stained water and is typically fished high in the water column above grass, trees, and rock structures, where its enticing action stimulates predatory fish to strike. In waters with high fishing pressure, a bladed jig can make the difference between success and failure. We have also added a strong oval spring ring for tying the bait directly to your leader or attaching a wire leader. Experiment with different soft plastic trailers, such as curltails, paddletails, and creature baits, all of which work excellently and swim superbly behind the BladeBite.

Hook size is denoted by a number. The higher the number, the smaller the hook. Size 30 is a tiny hook, 4 is significantly larger. If there’s a zero after, e.g., 2/0, it’s even bigger. The higher the number before the zero, the larger the hook. We have a range from the smallest hook, size 30, to our largest, 18/0.
