Stroft GTM nylon line/leader material light gray

Description

Stroft GTM number 1 for experts and beginners!

When a filament leaves the spinning mill, it is first called raw filament, which is far from a finished STROFT fishing line, it is only now that the multiprocess begins. The STROFT line passes through various baths. The baths remove unwanted components from the line via diffusion, and components are added to the line through repeated baths. The STROFT line is then stretched to 6 times its own length. This means that the tensile strength increases significantly and the line takes on the desired shape. The line then goes through baths again, giving the surface its finish and also making it slick, which is a hallmark of STROFT fishing lines. Finally, several heat treatments are used to maximize knot strength. After all these processes, the STROFT fishing line is ready!

  • Low friction - long casts. The line, through a unique hardening with Teflon, has low friction that provides incredibly good casting properties throughout the line's entire lifespan.
  • Silicone-Teflon hardened - knot strong. By hardening with silicone-Teflon additives, the line's surface is sealed, which has a very positive effect on the line's properties in wet conditions.
  • Wear-resistant - fewer line breaks. The sealed and hardened surface through hardening makes the line incredibly resistant to external influences such as wear & sunlight.
  • Soft and smooth line.
  • Cold-resistant down to -42°C.
  • Invisible - more bites. Stroft GTM is transparent light gray with a refractive index very close to water. Almost invisible underwater, highly visible above water.
  • Saltwater-resistant. The unique hardening (heat treatment) with silicone-Teflon additives makes Stroft GTM highly resistant to aging and low impact after long-term use in saltwater.

Measured in mm of diameter. The line and length you choose depend on the fishing you’ll do and the reel you’ll spool. 0.25-0.35 mm = all-round fishing, 0.40 mm and up = heavy fishing.
