Buy your jig heads here! Different types of soft bait jigs require different types of heads and we have everything from the very smallest to the really heavy artillery.
It is common to experiment with different types of jigs to find the right one. However, it is quite common that just the head of the jig plays as big a role in the bite, or sometimes an even bigger role. Stock up on different weights so you have a greater chance of getting it right. If the perch is stubborn, a head of five grams and three grams can be the whole difference between failure and success.
Hook size is denoted by a number. The higher the number, the smaller the hook. Size 30 is a tiny hook, 4 is significantly larger. If there’s a zero after, e.g., 2/0, it’s even bigger. The higher the number before the zero, the larger the hook. We have a range from the smallest hook, size 30, to our largest, 18/0.
