Originally, all multiplier reels, or "multi reels," were round. Today, the more flattened low-profile reels are becoming more common.
They are available today for all kinds of fishing, from light spinning for perch to heavy and demanding fishing for pike, or fast-swimming saltwater species. For some fishing methods, these reels' lower profile and user-friendly design are especially popular - such as in vertical fishing and traditional spinning where one wants to hold the reel in a firm grip. We have low-profile reels for all segments and in varying price ranges. Feel free to ask us for advice!
This indicates the size class of the reel. The size is specified differently depending on the type of reel, and you can read more about how they’re classified under Frequently Asked Questions in each reel’s category.
