The rod, reel seat, and guides are new, and the rods have a significantly more updated action than previous models. Kenzaki's rounded, trianyellowar front handles provide a particularly good grip both when fishing and during the fight thanks to their length. The rods are available in both two-piece and three-piece versions.
The two-piece rods are available in 7 feet lengths in the weight classes of 12-20 lb, 20-30 lb, 30-50 lb, and a heavier 40-60 lb rod at 6.6 feet with the split in the handle (known as 1+1).
The three-piece rods are easy to pack in a suitcase if you are traveling north. These are 7 feet long and available in the weight classes of 20-30 lb and 30-50 lb.
