Designed for saltwater fishing, from the lightest lures all the way up to the mammoth 8000 model for heavy jigs and deep water. We are proud to present the Daiwa Saltist!

The combination of the aluminum body and Mag Sealed BB provides incredible resistance to saltwater. ATD resistance is enhanced with carbon drag washers for smooth line release, especially with braided line. For increased power and mechanical strength, we have incorporated the anti-reverse system from the 4500 model and up. No back play means full engagement for drag performance.
