Daiwa 23 Legalis LT spinning reel

Description

Airdrive Design from Japan – at an unbeatable price-performance ratio.

The new 23' Legalis is lighter and tougher than the previous model and features the new Airdrive Design concept. Size 2500 weighs only 195 grams! The Airdrive rotor made of Zaion V material starts with low inertia, leading to better lure control and increased sensitivity. By shifting the center of gravity to the rear of the reel, improved overall balance is achieved during casting. Tough Digigear offers high winding power and is securely housed in the Zaion V material reel body, resulting in high durability and smooth operation – perfect for spinning for zander, perch, pike, and trout.

The new Airdrive bail is lighter than before, extremely durable, and significantly reduces the risk of tangles in combination with the new bail arm. The ATD Type-L brake provides smooth and optimized line release under load without high inertia, providing the necessary security when battling large specimens. The Aluminum Longcast ABS spool has a special spool edge that contributes to longer casting distances. The Twistbuster III design at the line roller is perfect for use with braided lines: the line does not compress during winding, resulting in less tangles.
