Berkley [BARTRK-B] repair kit tip guide for rod incl. glue 3-pack

Description

Save the day, fix the rod, and keep on fishing!

If someone accidentally steps on your favorite rod on the casting deck or if the tip guide happens to be broken for any other reason, you can easily repair/replace the tip guide, all you need is this kit and a lighter.

  1. Remove the broken tip by heating it up with a lighter, moving the flame back and forth over the tip until the old glue softens and the tip guide can be pulled off.
  2. Melt the end of the included glue stick for 4-5 seconds and apply the glue to the rod tip.
  3. Slide the new tip guide onto the glued surface. Move the tip guide back and forth a few times to ensure the melted glue spreads evenly across the surface, then align the tip guide so it sits in line with the other rod guides.
  • Inner diameter of the tip guides: ø2.8 mm (7/64")
  • Contents: 3 black tip guides and one glue stick
