Abu Garcia Tormentor Travel spinning rod

Description
The Abu Garcia Tormentor rod series consists of a range of spinning rods for light to medium-heavy fishing. The rods feature a 24-ton blank with a relatively deep action, making them long casting and comfortable to fight fish with. With a deeper action, the risk of losing a hooked fish is reduced as the blank handles head shakes and runs in a calm and secure manner. Choose between 2-piece or 4-piece models depending on how short of a transport length you prefer.

The choice of a telescopic or travel rod is usually guided by casting weight and rod length. For lighter fishing, like perch or trout, a rod with a casting weight of 5-15g and a length up to 7’ is recommended. For all-round fishing, such as perch, zander, or sea trout, a rod with a casting weight of 10-40g and a length around 7-9’ works well. A telescopic rod is very easy to set up, while a travel rod offers slightly better feel and durability.
